Adult coloring books are the newest fad this time around, and you’ll find yourself hard pressed to go to a store and not see one. Since these unique little books invite even the most unartistic individual to try stretching their creative wings, and yet still even tug at the most creative souls to give it a try, we don’t think they’re going away any time soon.
Because of this, we thought we’d compile a list of adult coloring books for every occasion, and every kind of person.
1. Crazy Cat Lady Coloring Book
For the true cat lover, this adult coloring book offers 24 fully illustrated pages to color.
As a bonus, it has a quiz in the interior so you can discover whether you are a true crazy cat lady or not. Score!
2. Have a Nice Life, Asshole
It’s the perfect coloring book to get over an ex. It includes 50 insults you can color and then mail to your ex, should you choose.
It’s also a great choice for the person who just likes insulting people.
3. Unicorns Are Jerks
It’s definitely a niche sort of coloring book, but we’re sure there’s someone out there who’s a unicorn conspiracy theorist, who will appreciate this.
The illustrations feature a unicorn or two on every page showing their true colors. Absolute scoundrels.
4. The Tattoo Coloring Book
You can’t deny that if you’ve ever seen someone covered in tattoos lacking color… you’ve kind of wanted to fill them in yourself. Don’t lie. They’re practically asking for it! Thankfully though, to avoid getting a restraining order, this awesome coloring book exists instead.
Maybe you’ll even be inspired to put one of these pieces on yourself when you’re done with the book!
5. The Sex Position Coloring Book
Yup, if you’re feeling frisky there’s even a coloring book for you and your significant other.
We’re not sure if it’s meant to be educational or inspirational, we’ll let you be the judges of that…
6. Dinosaurs With Jobs
They’re dinosaurs, they have jobs. What more is there to say? It’s definitely a utopian perspective of how the world could be today if dinosaurs still existed.
Who doesn’t love the ridiculous mixed with the mundane? It’s exactly what you want to color on your down time.
7. Harry Potter
Your nerd wish has been granted, there are in fact official Harry Potter coloring books out there. After you finish rereading the series for the thousandth time, you can give the storyline a break and color some of the scenes instead.
They even sell a variation of this book focusing on the magical creatures, instead.
8. The Swear Word Coloring Book
Everyone needs to relax or let things go every once in a while, that’s why coloring books are marketed as therapeutic. These two coloring books seem to embody an even deeper level of therapy in using swear words as the art. Some of which seem to be British in origin.
There’s even a sequel, perhaps proving that the book does its job?
9. The Walking Dead Coloring Book
There’s never not a good time to color some zombies. There’s especially never not a good time to color some Walking Dead zombies.
Don’t be surprised if you run out of red really quickly, though.
10. Color Your Own Van Gogh
What better way to let out your inner artist than to take inspiration from another amazing artist?
The book includes perfect outlines of some of Van Gogh’s most famous paintings.
11. Ugly Holiday Sweaters Coloring Book
Everyone loves a good ugly sweater party, but how awesome would it be to get one of these for a present, or even give one of these as a present? It’s so awful, it’s awesome!
The best part is if anyone criticizes your art, you can just say you meant to do that. You know, cause it’s ugly.
12. The 1990s Coloring Book: All That and a Box of Crayons
Young adults everywhere are cheering, finally a coloring book of all their childhood experiences. This book includes memories from popular 90s shows, fashions, and technology.
It’ll be the smartest purchase you ever make… not!
13. It Really Sucks When…: An Adult Coloring Book
This book allows us to experience secondhand embarrassment while trying to destress. It’s the best of both worlds! It highlights horrifically embarrassing moments for our coloring pleasure.
Better fictional characters than us, we always say.
14. Color My Boobs! Adult Coloring Book
Well, not mine. But this book offers a variety of different chest sizes, depending on your preferences as the artist.
It is art, right?
15. Color Me Swoon: The Beefcake Activity Book for Good Color-Inners as well as Beginners

This book features well known celebrity beef cakes, like Gosling pictured below. He seems to be saying, “Hey, girl. Color me in like one of your French girls.”
